Pallet Management Solutions
Either Open-End System or Closed-End System Toronto Pallet Pro works with companies to recover and return pallet equipment shipped under freight to distribution centers outside of their corporate umbrellas. By working with shipping and receiving corporations, costs can be reduced for both parties. JIT (Just in Time) solutions are available as part of a pallet management system.
TPP assists with repair and recycling of in-house and closed loop systems. We can recover, repair and return to corporations. This helps our customers benefit from reduced transportation and repair costs. JIT (Just in Time) solutions are available as part of a pallet management system.
PALLET DESIGN SOFTWARE
Billions of new wood pallets are built every year to transport all the goods and services the world manufactures and consumes. That means that even small changes in how these wood pallets are constructed can further the environmental benefits that wood already provides.
We offer extensive pallet redesign expertise. The Pallet Design System™ (PDS) and Best Pallet™ are product specification tools, engineering design tools– all contained in a software package developed for the wood pallet industry. Professionally created pallet drawings can be produced simply and quickly. When adding a personalized price quote, the drawing can be sent to customers for immediate approval. Each drawing gives the dimensions, grades and materials (Service available for new and used pallets)
Pallet Repair Programs
Recycling is our top priority here at Toronto Pallet Pro; and a large portion of our recycling is performed through our signature pallet repair program. Our pallet repair program is comprehensive, standardized, and spans multiple departments.
Pallet repair is the process of taking a pallet that may have broken stringers and deck-boards and restoring it back to a usable condition. Repaired pallets are also an environmentally friendly option – as they extend the life of the pallet and prevent lumber from ending up in the landfill. We also offer on-site repair to your specifications. Letting our experts focus on your pallet needs allows you to focus on your core business and product distribution, increasing efficiency, and lowering costs associated with pallet handling.
Heat and Fumigation Treatments
Wooden pallets must be heat-treated to stay in compliance with ISPM 15, a regulation developed to prevent international transport and spread of disease and insects. While the heat treatment process was designed for pest control, it also makes pallets more resistant to fungi and other organisms that contribute to wood rot. While fumigation is also an option, we find heat-treated pallets safer for our customers and us.
Using a heat treat chamber, our wood pallets are heated to a core temperature that will ensure the safety and cleanliness of your pallets. Our pallet experts monitor the whole process to ensure the quality of the pallet is not comprised in any way during the process, and that pallets are treated for the optimal time.
